The Final Countdown

Today we actually set an alarm to wake us up. It is our final day of the holiday and we need to vacate our room by midday.

I was conscious of the fact that I had to pack my very small suitcase and was not looking forward to the trauma of trying to fit everything in.

It was a little bit of a struggle but with the help of the few extra lbs I had gained from another big breakfast my husband was able to zip the case up while I sat on it.

It was a gloriously hot today so after checking out we took our last walk to the Marina via the lake and enjoyed a coffee at the Deck Lounge that sits out on the water beside some very expensive boats. I’m dreaming of a lottery win. I can just imagine a life of sunbathing on deck with a mojito at my side. One can dream !!

Denim Skirt – La Redoute

Blondie Tee – Matalan

The rest of the day was spent sitting around the hotel pool soaking up the last of the sunshine before changing into jeans and sweatshirt for our evening flight back to the UK.

We have had a truly fabulous little holiday and are already looking a flights for next year with a view to booking one of the pretty apartments in the Old Village.

Thank you for reading my little holiday diary,

Melanie xxxx
