This is the first time I have created a plan for myself to follow based on what I have learnt from books, other plans I have followed and what I know about my own personality. It has not been an easy ride over these last few weeks but despite tonsillitis, an ear infection, lack of sleep and a ridiculously busy time at work I pushed through. I didn’t manage to complete as many workouts as I had planned but I did manage to stick to my healthy eating plan for about 95% of the time.
I am pleased with the progress I have made. I have shed a few pounds, lost a few inches and my wobbly bits are definitely less wobbly than they were when I started.

Now I am moving onto Stage 2. The Sculpt and Tone Stage. I will continue with carb cycling. Eating carbs only after workouts. My workouts will include Yoga and Pilates a couple of times a week and 3 or 4 sessions of resistance/weight bearing circuits to start to build a little muscle.
I think it will be much easier to stick to this stage of the plan as I now have some time off work over the Summer which makes it easier to fit in time at the gym. I am also walking 5+ miles two or three times a week to continue my training for the Shine Marathon at the end of September.
